A birthday message sent with love

Happy Birthday to the most amazing friend that anyone could ever hope to have. I treasure every moment we get to spend together and, even though it has only been 5 years of friendship, it feels like so much more than that. No matter how far apart we may be, you will always have a special place in my heart, I promise.

Meeting and befriending you changed my life. I hope that I can return even a fraction of the joy that you give me back to you but I know that is a tall order. I am constantly humbled by the warmth and kindness that you show to others. You comfort me when I am upset. You pick me up when I am down. You give me the strength to keep going when I want to give up. You make me giggle when I am sad. You tolerate me when I am difficult without a single grumble or word of complaint. To you, this might all seem like nothing, but to me, it means everything.

I love you so, so much. Amanda, you really are the best.
